Ecolink's Door/Window Sensor, with external contact input, is designed for maximum range and battery life. This family of sensors from Ecolink use the new 500 series Z-Wave components with Z-Wave Plus certification.The device consists of two parts: the sensor (mounted on the frame of your door or window) and the magnet (mounted on the door or window). When the two parts separate, alert is triggered and sent to your Z-Wave controller. Once an alert is triggered, you’re in control—you can activate an alarm, a video camera, or a lighting setup.
Both components of the device can be easily installed with the included mounts/screws or adhesive tape.
