Control virtually any HVAC or heat pump system the AprilAire 8466 Universal Programmable Thermostat. This programmable thermostat can command nearly any type of HVAC unit, including single stage systems, multi stage systems, and heat pumps systems. The thermostat’s 4.5 LCD screen displays indoor, target, and outdoor (via 8052 outdoor sensor, sold separately) temperatures, as well as notifications, messaging, and adjustable settings. This programmable model allows for separate temperature programming for each day of the week, all of which is saved to the thermostat and retained even when power is lost.

- Progressive recovery allows the thermostat to activate the heating and cooling equipment prior to an event in order to reach the desired temperature at the start of the next scheduled event

AprilAire’s “progressive recovery” activates your heating or cooling equipment before a scheduled event, so that when it’s time for the event to start, your home has already reached your desired temperature. Program the thermostat to remember what time you arrive home from work, and it can automatically prep the house before you reach your front door.
